European Canoe Marathon Championships from 13th to 16th of July at the River Sava

The second environmental audit for Croatian Federation was held during the European Canoe Marathon Championships from 13th to 16th of July at the River Sava, in Slavonski Brod, Croatia.

Considering that this competition is at European level, the Croatian Canoe Federation, the Organising committee and the ECA's technical delegate for Marathon discipline, were involved in the organisation.

The event was attended by 23 European countries, 241 athletes, 13 ITO’s (International Technical Officials), 15 NTO’s (National Technical Officials), 6 result providers, 3 Jury members, 1 ECA Photograph, 20 Media workers, 127 volunteers, and 85 others (Team leaders, coaches, and team staff). The entire competition involved races for juniors, U23, and seniors over different distances, from short races of 3,4km to long races of 11.8km, 15.4km, 22.6km, 26.2km, 29.8km. This is also the only discipline that involves the athletes in some races running.
